Automation may assist with topic research, evidence organization, drafting, editing, claim checks, metadata, production tasks and visual assets. The amount and type of assistance can vary by article.
What automation does not prove
AI assistance does not establish that a claim is true, that a byline has firsthand experience or that professional review has occurred. We do not present generated personas, credentials or experiences as independently verified facts.
Editorial controls
Our current systems are designed to connect material claims to evidence, check for important contradictions and hold work with unresolved factual or editorial problems. These controls reduce risk but cannot eliminate every error.
